Facilities and Services All apartments / houses are fully furnished to a high standard. The kitchens are fully equipped with all cutlery, crockery, utensils and appliances (cooker, fridge) All apartments / houses have a washing machine and washing powder is provided All apartments / houses have dishwashers and dishwasher tablets are supplied A welcome pack is provided on arrival. A full inventory of all equipment is provided. No items are to be removed from the apartments / houses during your stay. The prices quoted for the apartments / houses include all services - heating, electricity etc. except telephone calls. They also include a maid service once a week. All linen and towels are included and changed once a week. Booking A 100% non-refundable deposit is payable on confirmation of booking and payment must be made with cleared funds to Cambridge Short ter lets Ltd to be made before arrival. Payment can be made in sterling by cheque or credit card in advance or by credit card before arrival. Payments can also be made by bank transfer of the full sterling amount. Bank details are available upon request. Credit and debit card payments will be subject to the appropriate bank charges. Cancellation All notification of cancellation must be made in writing to Cambridge Short Term Lets at the earliest opportunity. If received within 28 days of arrival the hirer may be liable for the full rental. If the property is able to be re-let then only the deposit will be forfeited. If a cancellation is received more than 28 days prior to arrival then all payments received will be refunded less £100 cancellation fee Arrival/Departures All apartments / houses are usually available by 3pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 11am on day of departure. A representative will meet you at the apartment at the expected time of your arrival and a contact number will be given for your convenience. Any variation to these times can be made with prior agreement. Any delay in vacating the apartment will be liable to a charge of one seventh of the weekly rate General information The property and all equipment must be left clean and tidy and free of any damage at the end of the rental period. Except in the case of normal wear and tear the hirer will be responsible for making good any damage to the apartments / houses or its contents which has occurred due to negligence, wilful damage or irresponsible behaviour on the part of those occupying the apartment or their guests. Any damage must be reported, without delay, to Cambridge Short Term Lets . The cost of repair or replacement must be agreed with and paid to Cambridge Short Term Lets. The hirer undertakes that no person will suffer anything to be done which would endanger the policy of our insurers in respect of the apartment and it's contents, which might make the same void. Cambridge Short Term Lets cannot be held responsible for any personal injury, loss or damage to personal effects howsoever arising at the accommodation. Cambridge Short Term Lets cannot be held responsible for any circumstances beyond our control including, but not limited to, mechanical breakdown, illness or failure of any public supply. Representatives of Cambridge Short Term Lets have right of access to the property at any time, with due regard to the convenience of the hirer, for the purpose of inspection of the property and to carryout essential repairs or maintenance work. All information supplied by Cambridge Short Term Lets is given in good faith and is based on information available at the time. Reasonable measures have been taken to ensure that information given is accurate, but Cambridge Short Term Lets is not liable for any variation, however caused. Unfortunately no pets are allowed. Cambridge Short Term Lets apartments / houses are strictly non-smoking. Any complaints about the apartments / houses or their contents should be brought to the attention of Cambridge Short Term Lets at the earliest opportunity, preferably during your stay. It is recommended that insurance be taken out against cancellation, personal accident and illness. As the apartments / houses are used as serviced holiday accommodation, they are exempt from security of tenure under the Rent Act. Cambridge Short Term Lets does not allow same sex parties ie; stag or hen parties on its premises. We retain the right to make any necessary changes. |
